An Introduction...

Submariners.biz (Subbiz) is owned by Jim Doonan, a qualified submariner and his wife, Char. Subbiz was created solely for the purpose of bringing a huge array of merchandise that relates to U.S. Navy Submariners into one location. Our dream for this site is to keep building it with new items, merchandise and vendors so you can find what you are looking for at a quick glance. (Because we know most men don’t like to shop!) Also, pages devoted to news and information in the "submariners" section.

Char Doonan, the chief creative officer of CanDew Digital, has digitally (re)created a high-resolution image of the "Dolphins," the official symbol for qualifying U.S. Navy Submariners. The dolphins have been artistically detailed as close as possible to the original pin. They come in either gold or silver; and to represent all qualified submariners, a gold dolphin on the left and a silver dolphin on the right. Here at Submariners.biz, we are always looking for quality merchandise that is affordable, and that we can work with to customize for you. With the age of technology, I'm happy to say, that it is becoming easier. We are working with many different vendors to be able to offer "personalization and customization" in one spot. Let us do the walking and designing for you. If you see a design and you don't see it available on a certain product, just contact us and we will be more than happy to make that available for you. Add your name, boat name / boat no#, even your favorite message; i.e., Pride Runs Deep, Diesel Boats Forever, Steel boat - Iron men, Silent Service, etc. Whatever that message may be, we'll be happy to make it exactly as you want it. Yes, there may be an extra charge, then again maybe there won't be! Because we don't know what it is that you want precisely, it's hard to say what the costs will be. We can promise you this: we will always try to keep our prices down. No other business can offer you these services and products in one place! So let us do the work for you, and you can go and enjoy life.

Because we have many products that vary in price because of our wanting to offer personalization, setting up many different "shopping carts" create confusion and complication. We do have some shopping carts set up in our home web site of candew.com, it's recommended to contact us (email or phone) first prior to placing your order, so you don't get overcharged.

In some instances, we keep our prices lower than the recommended "retail" price. You may find lower prices on competitor products, but we know it's not going to be the same quality or detail.
